Magpie Pictures have secured the rights to Mireille Juchau’s award winning The World Without Us, and is adapting the novel into a 6x one-hour drama series THE HIVE.
Angela Betzien, one of Australia’s most exciting emerging screenwriters (TOTAL CONTROL and best known for her work in theatre) will be lead writer working with multi-award-winning writer Blake Ayshford (FIGHTING SEASON, MYSTERY ROAD) as story producer and writer on the series.
